the film “September Says” follows the complex bond between two 15-year-old sisters born just 10 months apart.
in connection with its release, me and you and olive, a sister duo creating food and clothing, are hosting a screening and tea party.
the evening will have two parts:
first, we’ll watch the film together.
after the screening, enjoy tea and baked sweets while listening to a mini talk by olive’s satsuki and hitomi umemuro, sharing their thoughts on sisterhood, creativity, and more.
then, we’ll split into small groups to chat about the film, using key themes as conversation starters.
you’ll also receive a small takeaway gift: a drawstring pouch filled with handmade baked treats inspired by the film, prepared by olive.
let’s spend a relaxed evening together, reflecting on sibling relationships, the fairytale-like tension between two, and touches of fashion and interior design, seen through each person’s unique perspective.
